Common Nordic:
was a Nordplus Junior project between the secondary school Framhaldsskólinn í Austur-Skaftafellssýslu in Höfn Iceland and Jämsän sedun koulutuskeskus/Maatalous- ja puutarhaoppilaitos Yrkesskola in Jämsä in Finland in the school year 2007  – 2008. The name of the Finnish school today is Gradia Jämsä

The main target of the project was to learn about:

– entrepreneurship
– foreign culture and nature
– using new information technology (videoconferences)
– practical project/team work skills
– language skills
– climate protection

and of course to expand the horizons and make new friends.
